Floor Systems

Besteel Frames manufactures a unique open webbed floor framing system that allows easy access for services through joists and bearers and allows for larger clear spans than conventional floor systems. The open webbed floor system is perfect for second story levels and fixes neatly to our prefabricated wall frames. Another type of floor system we offer to our clients is a purlin floor system. We use purlin floor systems for single and 2 story projects, commercial projects and mezzanine floor systems. We generally like to keep to a 3000mm span on our joists and bearers but we can accommodate to greater spans by increasing the purlin depth and thickness. We use hi-tensile galvanised steel purlins that are pre-cut to size and offer a long term protection against corrosion.
